Judy was the 2003 President of the International Coach Federation (ICF), the 13,000-member nonprofit organization that serves professional coaches. She was founding editor/publisher of the Coaching News, the E-newsletter for the ICF, and served on the Board of Directors for eight years.

Under Judy's leadership the ICF grew in quality and quantity, with a greater than 25% increase in membership and a strengthening of the quality of programs to maintain and upgrade the standards of the profession.

Judy was also founder (in 1995) of ICF North-Texas — the very first official ICF chapter. She served as its president for three years, while directing and publishing the first ICF International Newsletter.
